"Phone a Friend" is one of the popular "Keep I.T. Simple" series of computer training sessions designed for non-technical people. Training is led by experts who explain how things work simply and in plain english.

In just three hours we will demonstrate clearly how you can use the Internet to make free or low cost phone calls.
We will take you, step-by-step, through the process of installing the Internet phone software, and then give you a practical demonstration of how to make your first Internet phone call.
Then, we will show you how easy it is to add a low cost camera to your computer, so that you can make video calls; and finally, we will show you how you can conference call with a number of people in different places, allowing families and friends to chat.

Who is it for?

Prerequisites
Delegates require only a basic understanding of a personal computer and how to use the internet.
Duration, Format and Price
This 3 hour session is presented by a topic expert, in plain english, using a hotel training suite and video projector. The audience is encouraged to ask questions as they go. There is also an open question and answer session at the end which always proves to be popular.
